We feel if a club becomes too large, they miss a lot of the activities and the camaraderie enjoyed by the current members. Consequently, we’ve decided to limit the number of club members. Once our membership list is full, there will be a waiting list. Request an on line application and we will process it for you as quickly as possible. Contact us at (teamcorvettebham@aol.com) for any questions you may have regarding a membership.

Team Corvette of Birmingham is listening, we are planning many things as we continue to hear what our members want.  Not everything is going to be just about the Corvette.

Many Corvette owners have never torn their cars apart, content to drive them just the way they are or pay someone else to do the dirty restoration work.

For those faithful, we offer two time-lapse videos that documents a man singlehandedly taking apart a C3 Corvette roadster with a few wrenches and his bare hands – oh, and a hoist lift to raise the body off the frame and lower it gently to the ground.

Ralph Eckler Offering Signature Corvette Restomods

There aren’t many names more familiar to the Corvette enthusiast than that of Ralph Eckler, founder of Eckler Corvette Parts, which has grown into one of the top suppliers of quality Corvette parts and accessories over the past 40 years.

Mr. Eckler is now retired from the company that bears his name, but that doesn’t mean his love for Corvettes has gone away.

Just the opposite. He’s now taken his enthusiasm for Corvettes to a new and exciting level with the introduction of his Ralph Eckler Signature Car Collection.

National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park

The National Corvette Museum is in the planning process to build a new “world class” motorsports park. The Park will be located on approximately 184 acres of land with 1.5 miles of frontage on I-65 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, directly across the interstate from the Museum. Check out this overview about the Motorsports Park project.

Motorsports Park Leaps Another Hurdle

On March 1st the local Planning and Zoning Commission approved our request to rezone 405 acres for the NCM Motorsports Park project.  This was a major accomplishment. To date, we have completed a feasibility study, Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, Wetlands Jurisdiction Determination and a Traffic Study.  All of these supported our site as an excellent location for the Motorsports Park.

The last week of March we will begin executing our options on the additional 114 acres, giving us 184 acres for the first phase of the Park, which will include a 2.94 mile road course and paddock, a 10-acre auto cross/skid pad area and a control tower/administration building.

We are still in search of title and major sponsors for the Park, and appreciate all of you who have pledged your support through our “One Acre Club” program. If you haven’t yet joined this elite group, please consider doing so as our project will soon be on the fast track! Learn more about our plans online here.
